If you have lost your debit card, or you believe it may have been stolen or compromised, contact us immediately.
- During First State Bank Hours: Call 866-372-1275, and a representative can deactivate your current card and order a replacement card for you.
- After Business Hours: Call 800-554-8969 to request that your card be deactivated.
- Login to Your First State Mobile Banking App: Use the CardHub feature to lock your card, then call or stop by the First State Bank branch nearest you to request a new card.
First State Bank Fraud Monitoring
First State Bank monitors accounts for fraud. If our Fraud Monitoring program detects suspicious activity on your account, you may receive a text or phone call from our system. If you do not respond to the Fraud Monitoring request on your card, your card may be disabled in order to protect your account. While we know that this may be inconvenient when the transaction is legitimate, it helps us keep your account safer, and mitigate any potential losses you may face in the case of fraud.
While this system cannot detect all fraudulent activity, we do ask that you do the following if you are contacted:
- If You Receive a Text: If the transaction in question is a legitimate transaction that you conducted, reply Yes. If you did not conduct the transaction, reply No.
- If You Receive a Phone Call: Please follow the prompts to verify your purchase.
Reminder: First State Bank will never request your account number(s) or other personally-identifying information via phone or text.
