Home Buying Help for First Generation Home Buyers

Home Boost Down Payment Assistance offered through Federal Home Loan Bank of Indianapolis (FHLBI) offers assistance with down payment and closing and housing counseling costs for qualified first-generation homebuyers in Michigan and Indiana. Qualified households may receive up to $25,000 in down payment assistance. First State Bank is proud to be an FHLBI financial institution partner. 

Program Requirements*:

• Be a first-generation homebuyer.
• Be a first-time homebuyer (as defined by HUD).
• Intent to purchase a primary residence in either Indiana or Michigan.
• Have a household income at or below 120% area median income (AMI).
