Why is Online Banking changing?

First State Bank cares about offering the accounts and services you need to safely and easily manage your finances – whether you’re an individual or running a business. Over the years, we’ve heard your feedback on Online Banking and are excited to be bringing you a better Digital Banking experience with features that enhance security, convenience, and financial management.

Why do I need to verify my current information in Online Banking?

Your current phone number and email address will be used for your Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to protect your account, and it will be used the first time you log in to the new system. To ensure a smooth experience, please review your current credentials in Online Banking.

How do I verify my information in Online Banking or make changes?

  1. Log in to online banking, then select Profile from the upper right corner of the screen.
  2. Profile changes require a security challenge, so you will be prompted to enter a passcode.
  3. To review and edit the email you have on file, click the EDIT button next to the email field.

Verify your email address—and add it, or update it as needed. You will repeat that step for the phone.

When will the new system be available?

A Better Digital Banking Experience will Take Flight on May 11, 2026, starting at 8 AM EST.

Will I have access to the old system after May 11, 2026?

No. The last day to access the existing online banking system is:

  • Business Online Banking: May 8, 2026, 6 PM EST
  • Personal Online Banking: May 8, 2026, 2 AM EST

How will I log in to the new system?

We will have the updated login available on our website in its typical position in the upper right corner of the page. You may also visit fsb.bank/take-flight to access the login link starting May 11, 2026.

Will there be any downtime before the new system launches?

Please consider the following alternatives to conduct your banking needs:
    • ATM: To conduct balance inquiries or make limited transfers, stop by a First State Bank ATM.
    • Branch or Call Center: Stop by a local branch, or contact our Call Center for transfers, wires, ACH, making FSB loan payments, and general inquiries—we're here to help!

Will I use the same login?

You will use your current username and password for the initial login to the new Digital Banking system.

Will my account history still be available?

You will have access to 24 months of account history, including up to two years' history for eStatements.

Will I need to re-enroll in eStatements?

No, you will remain enrolled, and your enrollment preferences will migrate to the new system.

Will my transfers and payments stay in the system?

Your external and First State Bank accounts for making transfers will still be in the system. Your Bill Pay payees/billers, history, scheduled and recurring payments will stay in the system.

Transfers that were self-set in our current Online Banking system will not be programmed in the new Digital Banking experience. These include account-to-account transfers, automatic payments to loans, and transfers to external accounts. Transfers that were set up in a branch will not be impacted.

Please note: automatic payments set up in Zelle or Bill Pay will also not be impacted.

Will my account nicknames stay in place?

No. Document your current account nicknames. You’ll need to rename your accounts manually in the new system, as existing nicknames will not transfer from Online Banking.

Will the new Digital Banking platform look different?

Yes! The upgraded platform features a new modern look, more intuitive navigation, and a customizable digital experience. You will get the same experience across all devices—whether you're using a desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone. An improved account view allows you to simplify how you view your finances and look at all your accounts under one profile.

Will it be secure?

Yes! The new system includes advanced security features that provide additional layers of fraud protection to keep your accounts safer.

Will it have budgeting tools?

Yes! We’re excited about the new financial management tools that will empower you and your financial future.

You will have access to GreenWI$E, a robust personal financial management tool that helps you view your spending, budget, cash flow, net worth, debts, and trends. This includes accounts within First State Bank and at other financial institutions. Plus, this tool can help you create budgets and set financial goals.

Will Credit $ense still be available?

Yes! Quickly and securely check your credit score with just a few taps using our credit monitoring feature, Credit $ense. This handy functionality allows you to understand how various factors, like credit inquiries, can affect your credit score.

Will I be able to make payments or transfers?

The new platform delivers payment and transfer options. These seamless solutions allow you to save time so you can focus on the things that really matter.

  • Payment & Deposit Switch with ClickSwitch: Easily move your automated recurring payments and direct deposits to your First State Bank account, including government payments.
  • Zelle: A fast, easy, and convenient way to send and receive money with friends, family, and even non-First State Bank accounts. You can send money directly from your account to enrolled recipients in minutes.
  • Customer-to-Customer Transfers: Easily transfer money to another First State Bank account holder without being on their account.

Can I connect my accounts from other financial institutions?

Yes. The new platform has new features that provide you with more streamlined solutions in just a few clicks. With account management and consolidation, you can connect and manage all of your external accounts from other financial institutions and organize them in one central location.

Can I connect Quicken or QuickBooks?

You can! WebConnect and Direct Connect features will be available, giving you one-way or two-way data flow to your platform of choice, depending on your preference.

Can I view my First State Bank credit cards in Digital Banking?

We’re excited to let you know that once you take flight, you will be able to access your First State Bank credit cards right from Digital Banking.

What about First State Perk Points?

You will now be able to access your First State Perk Points from within the new platform.

Can I review my transactions in real-time?

Yes! The new system allows you to view your debit card transactions and available balances in real time as they are processed in Digital Banking.

Will I need a new token?

Yes. For Business Banking, we are moving to a soft token, so if you are currently using a physical token, you will need to download the soft token and notify FSB of your Credential ID by May 8, 2026. Please visit fsb.bank/tokens for step-by-step instructions.

What should I do with my physical token?

For Business Banking, once you have downloaded the soft token, provided your Credential ID to FSB, and logged into the new Digital Banking Experience for the first time, you may dispose of your physical token. It will not be needed, and you don’t need to return it to First State Bank.
